What is AEP?
The Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 through December 7. People with Medicare can review certain coverage options for the following year; changes generally take effect January 1.
What is OEP?
The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period runs January 1 through March 31. People already in a Medicare Advantage plan may have certain options to change coverage.
What if my needs change?
A move, loss of coverage, or another qualifying event may create a Special Enrollment Period. The timing and options depend on the event.
